Green waste dumpsters available in various locations

Amador Air District is once again offering the residents of Amador County the opportunity to utilize green waste dumpsters to assist residents with keeping their properties fire safe.  The green waste dumpster will be available September, October and November weather permitting.  When the rains come, the bins leave due to the increased weight of wet vegetation.

While this is a free service to residents, there are a few rules to follow.  If the rules are broken, we all lose the dumpsters.

1 – Green waste only, meaning vegetation such as pine needles, leaves and small broken branches.

2 – No branches larger than 2” in diameter.  No large tree branches.

3 – No logs or stumps.

4 – Absolutely NO HOUSEHOLD GARBAGE.  NO ELECTRONICS.  NO FURNITURE.

4 – No commercial dumping.  This is for residents only, not businesses such as landscapers.

5 – Clean up after yourself.   Do not leave branches and pine needles on the outside of the bin.

DON’T ABUSE  IT  OR  WE  ALL  LOSE  IT !

LOCATIONS:

1 - Sutter Creek Fire Station, 350 Hanford St. 2 - Pine Acres Park on Tabeau Rd. 3 - Mace Meadows, location yet to be determined.  Most likely Glenmoor Rd. 4 - Lockwood Fire Station #151, 23141 Shake Ridge Rd.
