Up Country Lions donate $800 to the Interfaith Food Bank

Each year, Up Country 88 Lions Club donates to the Interfaith Food Bank. Thanks to the community's generosity, Lions were able to donate $800 at the regular meeting held at Pine Grove Pizza on Wednesday, June 6.  Pictured are Up Country 88 Lions Club President Gail Cates, Interfaith Food Bank Executive Director Beth Stanton, and 2nd Vice President Nancy Velasco.

After a very successful Omelet Feed and Raffle last month, the next fundraiser will be a golf tournament on August 4th. Co-sponsored with Amador Upcountry Rotary, the golf and raffle proceeds benefit upcountry community services and scholarships.
