French exchange students to visit Amador County June 15 to July 5

The Greater Jackson area will be welcoming exchange students from France this summer. The students will be here from June 15 to July 5, and are excited to meet their American host families and learn about American culture.

The students are looking forward to exploring our rich gold rush history as well. With planned outings to Indian Grinding Rock, Black Chasm and a bus trip to San Francisco they will get to explore how diverse Northern California can be. They will be volunteering their time while here to give back to this amazing community too. It’s not too late to join in on the fun and become a host family!
